Meet the Staff

Steve Arndt, Marina Director - Originally hailing from Cullman, Alabama, Steve joined the Navy right out of high school. After living in such exotic places as Honolulu, Orlando and Albuquerque, Steve decided to give the Panhandle a try. As luck would have it, shortly after moving to the Gulf Coast, Hurricane Opal struck the trailer park that he called home. Steve stuck around after that harrowing experience (which really wasn’t all that harrowing) and eventually wound up moving to Panama City Beach. Although he no longer lives in a trailer park he still enjoys life along the Panhandle, and longs for the day his Auburn Tigers regain the national title.
Chrystal Hubbard, Office Manager – An Air Force brat, Chrystal was born in Fort Worth, TX, but in ’88 her family moved to Panama City Beach. On any given day Chrystal would rather be sport fishing off the coast of Costa Rica, but in the meantime she’s content to help us out with our annual Billfish Tournament. She’s been with the Invitational since ’97, and finally landed a paying gig as Office Manager in ’07. Since she’s from Fort Worth it's only natural that Chrystal is a Cowboys fan, but she also likes to root for FSU. In her spare time she’s a gourmet food consultant for Tastefully Simple.
Kip Williams, Senior Dock Attendant – Kip’s another military brat, and his father brought the family to Panama City after a long stint in the Army. Kip was born in Vienna, Austria, but you can’t tell it from talking to him. Unless you ask, of course. Kip’s been with Bay Point Marina for 14 years, and although he claims that he has no musical ability, rumor has it that he once took accordion lessons. Kip enjoys reading in his off time, loves to pull for the University of Michigan (Go Big Blue!), and promises to wave to each of you from his Porsche after he hits the lottery.
Barbara Reep, Dock Attendant – Barbara comes to us by way of Memphis, TN, and has spent time doing just about everything from working a bait and tackle shop on the Merrimac River in St Louis, to selling trinkets to tourists at the Grand Canyon. She moved to Panama City to be with her sister a few years ago and now can’t imagine living anywhere else. A lifelong Cardinals fan, Barbara says her three favorite things are sunsets, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.
